Traffic Control Technician
Our goal is to provide a safe environment for the work zone for both the customer and pedestrians.
Duties:
Setting up equipment (cones, signs, etc.)
Flagging of traffic to ensure a safe work zone
Promptly completing required paperwork
Maintain contact with dispatch, on and off the job
Inspect vehicle to ensure safe operation and report any concerns to your superintendents or the dispatcher
Report any and all unsafe conditions to supervisor as soon as possible
Read and follow Traffic Control plans
Requirements:
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Basic math skills
Requires standing for long periods of time, as well as repetitive motions
Ability to work in an environment with high noise levels
Must have a valid driver's license
